Spouse owned 2015, 2019, 2021 and currently 2024 Outback Tourings. She hates this slab of glass, esp in the 2024, which she says is just as glarey and unreadable in sunlight, esp with sunroof open. It is too important to not be able to read it. 2024 is so laggy and slow and prone to rebooting, she hates it. In the 2021 at least it worked, even if glare was a problem. Dealer has updated it, checked it out, it's just not up to the task it's being asked to do. Also worried about cost to replace it out of warranty. She's told the dealership she'll not buy another Subaru with this equipment. And they must address the glare issue with any replacement unit - it's how it's positioned. She loves the car but hates this thing. She's not wrong - I've wanted to "reboot" it so often due to lag.
