My wife and I just love my wife's 2019 Subaru Outback. The 9.6 inch screen is not an issue. I drive a 2009 Lexus RX350 but I am forced to use the touch screen to control the heater or AC fan speed which is annoying. The newer RX350 now have a separate fan speed control buttons. Yes a large touch screen is better as long as there are separate control buttons on important functions.
