Your calculations assume a Volt gets 50 mpg. I'm averaging 122 mpg after 6500 miles. More importantly, my money for a higher car payment and electricity stays in the US economy and is not exported to foreign countries in exchange for OIL.

I am charging my Volt using electricity from Hungry Horse Dam which is truly ZERO emissions.

You need to recalculate.
