As far as sales figures are concerned, I guess that part of the reason Volt sales dropped in January was because of the battery scare. However, I suspect many (most?) California buyers are waiting for Volt models specifically modified to qualify for the HOV sticker (and an additional California rebate). They're not building these until Feb 6, 2012.

Morano's ClimateDepot.com is a project for "The Committee for a Constructive Tomorrow", which has gotten plenty of Richard Mellon Scaife money.
