I have a 2012 EX Civic and have been pleased. Yes there is some road noise, and the ride can be a little "choppy"; but still, it is quiet for the most part, generates 38.9 mpg on the road, and interior quality is not bad. I disagree with Consumer Reports rating on the 2012. It is still a very fine quality Honda product and should be given a look. fhw
