Any place you can plug in an RV, there's a good chance you can charge your electric car with the appropriate patch cord. Tesla drove a roadster two or three years ago from their California headquarters to the Chicago Auto Show by merely stopping at KOAs along the way.

It's just that most Americans are not to interested in hanging around these charging places so much. They want to drive to where they're going and then recharge, both self and car.
