It's probably not real degredation, it's probably a SW problem.

I'm guessing Nissan can issue a SW Patch and get a quick fix out in the field.

SOC / SOH algorithms are inherently difficult, and it sounds like @ high temperatures, high usages, Nissan did not do a very good job of characterizing the battery.
