For just the second time since the 2010 Chevrolet Camaro was introduced, the Dodge Challenger sold more units in the course of a month – beating the GM muscle car by 120 units and building on what is already the best year for the modern Mopar muscle car.

Bob Bondurant’s school of high performance driving has made a major announcement, switching to the Dodge Viper, Challenger and Charger from the Chevrolet Corvette and Camaro fleet that the Arizona-based driving school has been known for over the past decade.

According to the folks at Dodge and the SCCA, the new Dodge Viper ACR has proven itself to be the most capable street legal track car in the world by setting new lap records at 13 different tracks around the United States – defeating cars that cost ten times as much at well-known road courses like Virginia International Raceway, Road Atlanta and Laguna Seca.

The information on the Dodge Dart GLH Concept has come out of the SEMA Show in Las Vegas and due to the standard 2.0L base engine, some enthusiasts who had high hopes for an SRT-level Dart are hating on the sporty compact sedan – but we should all look at what this car could lead to rather than what it is right now.

When the Chrysler Group offered up a teaser image of the new Dodge Challenger with a badge that read GT AWD, we speculated that it would be an all-wheel drive muscle car and we were right – as this mean looking Mopar muscle car will indeed spin all four wheels with Hemi power.

The folks at Dodge posted this shadowy teaser image yesterday showing what looks to be the alleged all-wheel drive Dodge Challenger, what is obviously a Dodge Dart and the date and time of their SEMA Show press conference.

According to the fine print in the new labor contract between the UAW and the Chrysler Group, the Dodge Viper will no longer be built at the Connor Ave plant after 2017 and it seems that the Mopar supercar will be killed off altogether – and there are two key reasons why this is happening.

The Chrysler Group offered up a few teaser images ahead of the 2015 SEMA Show and one picture shows the back of a new Dodge Challenger with GT and all-wheel drive badging, leading us to believe that the Mopar crew is bringing an all-wheel drive muscle car to SEMA.

We have known for some time now that the 2016 Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat would cost a few grand more than the 2015 models, but today we bring you pricing on the rest of the 2016 Charger sedan lineup – which includes some other prices going up, some going down and some staying the same for the new model year.

A chart with the production numbers for the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat popped up on my Facebook wall today with a Hellcat.org watermark, leading me to believe that these are the official production numbers by color and transmission for the 707hp Mopar muscle car.

The 2016 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat costs a few grand more than 2015 model, but when compared to other American high performance cars and packages – the Hellcat Challenger still offers more bang for your buck than any of the American premium performance cars on sale this fall.

We have featured a handful of Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat quarter mile runs over the past year, but yesterday, the first two modern Mopar muscle cars broke into the 9 second range, with one cracking into the high 9s while the second got way into the 9s.
