While the Ford Mustang GT and the Shelby GT500 both have a seemingly endless lineup of companies offering packages with big power gains, the awesome Boss 302 Mustang has gone relatively unmentioned - with the exception of the incredible Brenspeed Boss 302 package that brings the output of this race-ready pony car up to 715 horsepower.

Ford Motor Company announced yesterday that the Explorer-based Police Interceptor Utility will now be offered with the 365 horsepower EcoBoost V6 – the same engine that is featured in the Ford Taurus SHO, the Explorer Sport and the Taurus-based Police Interceptor sedan.
