Ford has recalled 600,000 2006-2010 Fusion, Mercury Milan, and Lincoln MKZ midsized cars to fix a ABS problem. The ABS valve reacts with the brake fluid currently used in the vehicles and can significantly slow or stop the action of the ABS valve, leading to braking problems. So far, two injuries have been linked to the issue.

Ford Motor Company has announced that it will recall over 370,000 large sedans including the Ford Crown Victoria, the Mercury Grand Marquis and the Lincoln Town Car over a concern that a portion of the steering assembly could rust to the point that it fails – making it impossible to steer the big sedan.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration announced on Sunday that it would close an investigation into certain model year 2000-2003 Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable vehicles after Ford agreed to fix the affected vehicles.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has announced that its probe into complaints of unintended acceleration in certain Ford, Lincoln and Mercury vehicles has been upgraded to an engineering analysis – the final step that could lead up to a recall of almost a half million Ford vehicles.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has started an investigation into 1.9 million Ford Taurus and Mercury Sable sedans over a concern that the vehicles may be exhibiting similar unintended acceleration issues similar to those that plagued Toyota Motor Co over the past few years.

Ford Motor Company and the folks at the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration have announced a recall of 2004 and 2005 model year Ford Freestar and Mercury Monterey minivans over a concern that they may have been built with defective torque convertor output shafts – a problem that could leave the vehicle “dead in the water” if the output shaft was to fail on the open road.
