Now that we have met the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 and we are very familiar with the “normal” Chevrolet Corvette Stingray, it seems that General Motors has created a very large gap in the Corvette lineup that could be filled with a new medium performance package – a package that I think could be the C7 Corvette Grand Sport.

Now that the 2015 Ford Mustang has been introduced to the world, our curiosity is focused on the upcoming 6th generation Chevrolet Camaro and today we look at a rendering that looks to me like something that could actually look like the 2016 Camaro.

It isn't hard to guess that the supercharged LT4 V8 in the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 will sound absolutely amazing when running but thanks to YouTube user DtRockstar1, we don’t have to guess as he caught a video of the C7 Z06 idling ahead of its NAIAS debut – sounding incredible even at idle.

Even before the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 was introduced there was speculation that it might be so incredible that it would remove the need for a higher performance ZR1 model and with the new 625hp Z06 debuting in Detroit – discussions with GM brass suggests that the ZR1 is indeed dead for now.

Nestled within the sprawling “Mopar Garage” at the 2014 North American International Auto Show was the 2014 SRT Viper shown above in a gorgeous new Stryker Green Tri Coat paint – a color choice which I believe makes this particular Viper the best looking of the new Mopar supercars while the new GT package adds performance to the "base model" Viper.

Although the stunning new 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 was introduced with estimated power numbers of “at least” 625 horsepower and 635lb-ft of torque – a badge located on the dash with those exact figures would lead me to believe that those numbers might be more official than General Motors lets on.

The 2013 calendar year has come to an end and with that comes the end of the first year where the 2013 SRT Viper was available to buyers and in that shortened year the Chrysler Group moved just 591 units – but those numbers are expected to grow through the 2014 calendar year as the company is able to answer more direct vehicle orders.

In the past few weeks since it became official that the 2015 Ford Mustang would feature an EcoBoost 4-cylinder engine I have seen countless calls by enthusiasts to do away with the 3.7L V6 option since the EcoBoost offers similar power and better fuel economy but that would be a move that would almost certainly cost FoMoCo some sales.
