It's no secret that Kia as a brand suffered in 2013 with sales down 4 percent while the industry was up 8 percent but 2014 should be a different year, especially because the supply of Kia Fortes is going to increase.

One of those silly surveys that gloms onto a holiday was released on Valentine's Day showing the Hyundai Genesis was tied for the honor of most-loved, near-luxury car on the market. It was tied with the Lexus ES 350, which has to be the strangest automotive odd couple ever. But there are 5 reasons love for the Genesis will make it stand alone next year.

General Motors has issued a recall for 778,000 small cars due to ignition switch failures with reports of 6 deaths as a result of the problem, but doing some research into the whole situation reveals that those deaths may not have been caused by the ignition issue and those deaths are being mentioned to help spice up a fairly drab recall situation.

A glitch in the Chevrolet.com build page for the 2014 Camaro which applies a horrendous two tone paint scheme to the fine lines of the bowtie-clad muscle car has gotten a great many Chevrolet fans upset but now that the website problem has seemingly been fixed – Camaro fans need not worry about the awful magenta/grey scheme shown above appearing on a dealership showroom floor.

The recently introduced 2015 Ford F150 uses copious amounts of aluminum in the body panels to allow the next generation F150 to be a whopping 700 pounds lighter but the downside of this lightweight body is likely to be higher insurance costs stemming from higher repair costs when those aluminum panels are damaged.

Back in July 2013, the Chrysler Group publicly refused to recall 2.7 million Jeep Grand Cherokee and Liberty SUVs as instructed by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration and after 6 months of discussion – the federal government has accepted the Chrysler Group’s refusal to recall those vehicles.
