Ford Motor Company announced this morning that a new limited edition version of the Mustang GT – named the King Edition – will offer 727 horsepower in its most powerful form and in announcing this new package, Ford took a direct shot at Dodge’s Hellcat cars with “only” 707 horsepower.

The official pricing for the 2016 Dodge Challenger has hit the internet and in addition to the pricing increases for Hellcat package that we discussed a few weeks back, we know that some other models also get pricing increases for the 2016 model year – although the bestselling packages will remain unchanged for the new model year.

Earlier this month we talked about the 2015 Chevrolet Corvette Z06 running into engine problems while participating in Motor Trend’s “Driver’s Car” tests at Laguna Seca Raceway and the Corvette’s chief engineer offered up an explanation on CorvetteForum.com – claiming that the car had been incorrectly prepped by GM for the Motor Trend trials.

A class action suit has been filed against General Motors by a group of Chevrolet Corvette Z06 owners due to some problems with the LS7 engine, but some outlets are reporting the lawsuit in a way that has led some to believe that the new C7 Corvette Z06 with the LT4 engine is involved – but this lawsuit only pertains to the C6 Corvette Z06.
