Mitsubishi Motors North America is going to get plenty of money for the first 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition #0001. The Japanese automaker have announced they will auction off #US0001 to benefit the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. How can bidders get involved?
The Auction is now live for the U.S. spec Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition #US0001 on eBay. Bidders can get involved now and the bidding will run until November 21 when it concludes at the 29th annual MS dinner auction at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort in Coronado, California. The bidding price starts at $37,201.05
The EVO Final Edition US#0001 is based on the GSR 5-speed manual gearbox model. It gets extra upgrades that include a Final Edition badge in the rear, black painted aluminum roof, dark chrome painted Enkei alloy wheels, gloss black center bumper and hood air outlet and dark chrome front grille surround.
1,600 examples will be built for the U.S. market and each will come with a specific numbered plaque on the center console. 2015 EVO Final Edition models are upgraded inside with a black headliner, pillars, sun visors and assist handles, and red accent stitching on the sport seats, steering wheel, shift knob, console lid, floormats and e-brake handle.
Under the hood, the 2015 Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution Final Edition #0001 is powered by the same 2.0-liter turbocharged engine as the standard models, but will be producing a modest increase in power getting 303 horsepower and 305 lb ft of torque. The limited edition 1600 examples will also get lightweight two-piece Brembo brake rotors up front, accompanied by Bilstein shock absorbers and Eibach springs at all four corners.
