Ford Motor Company hasn’t offered an on-road performance variant of the F150 since the SVT Lightning left the lineup after the 2004 model year, but a Ford dealership in Georgia is offering their own Lightning tribute package with 650 horsepower – and it is priced right around $50,000, making it a smokin’ deal.

The shaft of the Tesla Model S electric motor inserts into an open differential gear box that then drives the two wheels. This gearing allows the outside drive wheel to rotate faster than the inner drive wheel during turns. Without this gearing either the inside wheel will rotate too fast or the outside wheel will drag.

The folks at Car & Driver have announced the results of their 2017 Lighting Lap series and while the Mercedes Benz AMG GT R took the title as the overall winner, the 2018 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 1LE beat every other competitor in the group – including the Porsche 911 Turbo S and the Nissan GT-R Track Edition, both of which are in the price class above the Camaro.
