FCA has announced the pricing for the new 2017 Ram 2500 Power Wagon and with a price starting just over $53,000 and climbing up around $57,500, the heavy duty, Hemi-powered Ram truck is priced very comparably to the 2017 Ford F150 Raptor.

While the 1950 Dodge D100 shown above doesn’t preface a future high performance model, this crate Hemi-powered rat rod pickup was among the most popular old school rides at the 2016 SEMA Show – with a crowd gathered around this patina-clad machine all week long.

The Ram 1500 Rebel is the newest Moparized vehicle, joining the Dodge Challenger, the Dodge Charger, the Dodge Dart and the Chrysler 300 on the list of vehicles given the factory upgrade treatment, but as has been the case in the past – the Mopar 16 Ram will be limited to just 500 units.

Last month, the Chrysler Group introduced the Ram 1500 Yellow Rose of Texas Edition which is – not surprisingly – only available in the Lone Star State, but after receiving a great deal of interest from other markets, the automaker has introduced the new Stinger Edition Ram 1500 for buyers in the other 49 states.

The 142nd running of the Kentucky Derby is this weekend and whether you watch the race on TV or attend in person, the Ram Truck brand will be prominently featured as the exclusive automotive partner of the Kentucky Derby and Churchill Downs.

The Chrysler Group has just announced a new limited edition package for the 2016 Ram 1500 with an unusual name and an eye-catching color – with the Yellow Rose of Texas Edition Ram arriving at dealerships around the Lone Star State beginning in April.

The new Ram 1500 Rebel is the biggest and baddest factory half ton Dodge or Ram truck of the modern era, but at the 2015 SEMA Show, the Mopar crew has taken this rough and rugged factory package to an even more extreme level – with a fairly brief modification list.

This past Friday, the Chrysler Group teased a few of the vehicles that they are bringing to SEMA and while we were enamored with the prospect of an all-wheel drive Dodge Challenger – there were also teasers of what appear to be the Chrysler 300, the Ram 1500 Rebel and a Fiat 500X which will join the AWD muscle car in the huge Mopar display.

If you are a Chrysler Group or General Motors fan who likes to row your own gears, you are in luck, as "FCA" and GM offer far more models with manual transmissions than do any of the other automakers doing business in the United States – with the Chrysler Group taking the slight edge overall.
