Saleen Automotive is celebrating 35 years of tuning the Ford Mustang, so as the company has done in the past for significant birthdays, a limited edition package has been introduced with monster power and a long list of other upgrades.

Saleen Automotive has announced the newest addition to their custom high performance vehicle lineup in the form of another Ford F-150 – this time named the Saleen Sportruck XR.

This past weekend, the crew from Saleen Automotive introduced their new F150-based Sport Truck at the Barrett-Jackson Scottsdale event, packing 700 horsepower into a uniquely-designed Ford pickup – and it can be ordered with the regular cab configuration.

Saleen Automotive announced this morning that they will soon offer a high performance package for the 2018 Ford F150 called the Sportruck and while the details are short right now – we know that the top of the line Saleen F150 will pack 700 horsepower.

Saleen Automotive has announced their new Heritage Collection Lineup this past weekend and the first member of that new collection is the George Follmer Edition Ford Mustang. Named to commemorate famous racer George Follmer and themed after Follmer’s 1969 Mustang Boss 302 – this new high performance Saleen Mustang brings the racing design to the streets.

Steve Saleen as his name back and to kick off the 2014 model year for the mighty Saleen Mustang, there are a total of five new Saleen packages that range in output from 440 to 700 horsepower with prices ranging from $39,095 to $82,634 – a spread in price and power that can appeal to a huge range of buyers.

Steve Saleen announced yesterday that after a court battle that spanned several years, he has won the right to use his own name once again after the company who purchased the Saleen brand in 2007 prevented Mr. Saleen from using his name when he left the company.
