A drone flyover of the Tesla Texas Gigafactory shows the EV maker starting to pump out Cybertrucks with a white interior. These new Cbyertrucks unlike the white interior on other Tesla vehicles do not feature white seats.
Tesla is currently in the final stages of testing the Cybertruck ahead of the November 30 scheduled delivery date. Throughout this long and exhaustive testing regiment, we’ve learned a lot of details about the Cybertruck.
Thanks to official communication from Tesla, we know that the Cybertruck will have a brand new 48-volt low-voltage system, an 800-volt high-voltage system, and a new air suspension with 14-inch of travel.
Thanks to leaks and spy shots, we also know that the Cybertruck will feature a second 8-inch screen for rear passengers and a programable interior ambient lighting similar to that of the refreshed Model 3.

On the durability front, we also know that the Cbyertruck is bulletproof to a 9mm handgun, a shotgun, and a Tommy gun. In addition, thanks to a Tesla durability test last month, we know that the vehicle is able to survive 1280 miles of off-roading in the Baja Peninsula in Mexico.
These are just a fraction of the specs we have confirmed about the Cybertruck. However, despite all the things we know about the all-electric truck, there are still crucial details remaining.
Most of the major remaining details have to do with the vehicle’s range, powertrain, and performance. It’s unlikely we get a confirmation of these matrics anytime before the November 30 delivery date.
However, one new Cybrtruck detail that has recently emerged has to do with the vehicle's interior trim. When Tesla showed off the Cybertruck back in 2019, the only interior color Tesla showed the vehicle in was black.
Given the Cybertruck’s rugged aesthetics, we assumed this would be the only interior color Tesla would offer. However, a couple of weeks ago, Elon Musk was spotted driving the first Cybertruck prototype with a white interior.
And a few days ago, BBC’s Top Gear was spotted shooting a detailed review of a Cybertruck with a white interior. These were the only two instances where a Cybertruck with a white interior was spotted leaving the question whether these are one-off prototypes or whether Tesla is planning to offer this interior color.
Thanks to a drone flyover of Giga Texas by Joe Tegtmeyer, this question has been answered. In his recent flyover of the Texas facility, Joe was able to spot a Cybertruck prototype with a white interior parked in the outbound lot of the factory which suggests that the vehicle was built in Giga Texas.
From the birds-eye point of view, Joe was only able to confirm that one of the vehicles featured a white interior however, if Tesla is producing this trim alongside regular Cybertrukcs then it suggests that the EV maker is planning to offer this option to customers.
Since Tesla hasn’t shared an official picture of the white interior Cybertruck, we still don’t know a lot about the trim however, from earlier spottings, we know that unlike in other Tesla vehicles, the white interior Cybertruck does not feature white seats.
However, the interior liner materials are all white and the dashboard which remains black even in the white interior of other Tesla vehicles, in the Cybertruck, is converted black.
Currently, this is all the information we’ve regarding the white interior Cybertruck. However, we’ll be sure to keep you posted when we learn more about Tesla’s plans. Until then, make sure to visit our site torquenews.com/Tesla regularly for the latest updates.
So what do you think? Excited to see a Cybertruck prototype with a white interior? Do you think a white interior works with the Cybertruck? Let me know your thoughts in the comments below.
