The Cybertruck is going to be released soon. This is what I think the specs of it are going to be.
Cybertruck: Upcoming Specs
The Cybertruck is going to be released soon, and I'm going to give what I think is a rough ballpark of what the specs are going to be in regard to range, performance, and price.
Tesla vehicles are known to be among the best vehicles when it comes to range, performance, and price being the best deal. For range, I expect that there will be two variants of the Cybertruck released, starting with the tri-motor. Tesla will then work its way down from this:
Tri-Motor Cybertruck Range: 400 miles
Dual-Motor Cybertruck Range: 350 miles
Single-Motor Cybertruck Range: 300 miles
There may even be add-ons that increase the range beyond these numbers.
Next, there is the performance and when I say performance, I mean acceleration or 0 to 60 mph time. Here's what I think each will be:
Tri-Motor Cybertruck: 0-60 mph: 2.7 seconds
Dual-Motor Cybertruck: 0-60 mph: 4.0 seconds
Single-Motor Cybertruck: 0-60 mph: 5.4 seconds
These are still extremely fast numbers for a giant post-apocalyptic truck.
Next is the price of the Cybertruck. For each of the three variants, here's what I think the price will be. These prices are close to current prices for a Rivian or Ford F-150 EV truck.
Tri-Motor Cybertruck: $79,900
Dual-Motor Cybertruck: $69,900
Single-Motor Cybertruck: $59,900
These numbers seem simple, but I think Tesla will match them pretty closely.

Cybertruck Add-Ons and Extras
The Cybertruck will have a lot of things going for it. I wrote a while ago that the Cybertruck will have an option for solar panels. I don't see this happening when Tesla releases it this year, and the reason for that is it makes it more complicated. Tesla is just going to release the truck as-is.
There have been reports of Cybertruck sightings where a screen was in the back of it. This would make sense to me since the newly refreshed Model 3 Highland has a screen in the back. The Cybertruck should be at parity with this.
The Cybertruck launch event will most likely happen later than September now - since I thought it would be at the end of September, but here we are, and it's September 6th. I think we are looking at an October or November launch month, unfortunately.
Expect the Cybertruck to have a lot of space, performance, range, and durability for its price range. It will be a great deal for anyone looking for a unique and powerful truck.

I don't know about those…
I don't know about those prices. I suspect it will be slightly cheaper than that. If you look at the thing and the way it's being built, I bet it's designed mostly to be as inexpensive as possible to build. No paint shop needed, a single wiper arm, a manually operated frunk, etc.
I guess we'll see, but it needs to undercut the more normal looking trucks to really make a niche for itself.
