We have some of the latest pictures and a full review of the new Tesla Model 3. There's also one thing I see that nobody is talking about.
New Tesla Model 3
There is a full review of the new Tesla Model 3 along with a bunch of new pictures showing the upgrades Tesla has made. In particular, there is one thing I noticed that I don't think many people are talking about.
One thing that not many are talking about is the reduced drag coefficient, which ultimately leads to a longer range. The drag coefficient was reduced to 0.219, down from 0.225.
There are improvements in the car, such as the removal of stalks and having the turn signals be simple buttons on the left-hand side of the steering wheel.
Users on X.com are talking about how much they love the car with comments including:
* "I absolutely love mine"
* "What do you call incredible?"
* "I don't hate anything about my Model 3"
Tesla listens very closely to customer feedback, and its launch in China is a direct result of getting feedback for changes as well as improving the vehicle. Look for Tesla to improve the Model Y similarly next - most likely in the next couple of years.

Motortrend did the full review of the new Model 3, saying it fixes nearly everything they hated about the old Model 3 and that it still isn't perfect. I would be shocked if the car was perfect, that would be quite the achievement!
First, hats off to Motortrend for the amazing pictures of the new Tesla Model 3 - they look incredible.
The most notable improvements and things shown in the review are:
The car has an improved aero-dynamic body, increasing range.
Inside the car, there are no stalks on the steering wheel, simplifying the controls.
To go into Drive, Neutral, Park, and Reverse, simply swipe on the left side of the infotainment screen. This simplifies the controls even more.
The range of the new Model 3 long range is 390 miles in the U.K., which is much longer than the U.S. version at 333 miles. This is something NOBODY is talking about.
Tesla has tightened up the panel gaps, resolving issues where there are gaps.
There is also a rear console for those in the back so that they can use controls and play games.
The noise in the new car is also much less. The car also handles about the same.
There was one glaring error in the review, however. They said the standard range model 3 has 272 miles of range, which is true, but that you'd charge to only 80% on a road trip at 216 miles of range. This is false as the Model 3 standard range has LFP batteries and Tesla recommends daily charging to 100% - especially for a road trip.
Motortrend wanted to see more, but I think there was quite a bit that was improved. They also didn't like the cost of Tesla's FSD at $12,000.
Overall, it seems to be a very positive review of the new Tesla Model 3.

Bro, this article should…
Bro, this article should never have been published. The EU's WLTP, the defunct NEDC, and China's CLTC range tests all give ranges far in excess of reality as most people do not travel long distances at the slower speeds these tests are conducted at. The EPA highway test cycle is better at predicting actual range but still ends up being optimistic as 75 mph not 55 mph is a realistic speed.
Customers expecting a 400 mile range Model 3 will be severely disappointed.

This makes no sense. You're clearly not taking into account the fact that the UK uses WLTP ratings, and the US uses EPA ratings.
Also, no car EVER comes close to their WLTP ratings. And Tesla uses the five-cycle EPA testing, instead of the more accurate two-cycle test, that consistently overestimates an EVs range.
I wouldn't expect a significant increase in range for the new car. Nor do I believe it will achieve anywhere near whatever they release as the estimated range. Tesla notoriously over promises on their range. Hopefully the new refresh helps a bit though. And I can't wait for them to update the Y to the same exterior design.
