After almost 2 years of teasers, spy shots, and user renderings, we finally got to see the real 2020 C8 Corvette last night and it has some amazing features that you should definitely pay attention to.

After last night's presentation Lamborghini, Ferrari, Porsche, and the like are going to be heavily rethinking their automotive lineup. For less than 60,000.00 you can get a mid-engine Corvette that will hit 0-60 in under 3 seconds. There aren't many supercars out there that can do this and here you can get it for less than 60k price tag. The 2020 C8 Corvette will be available early 2020.

Why You Are Going To Want One

If the sub sixty thousand dollar starting price wasn't enough, how about sub 3 second 0-60 time? Still not enough? How about state of the art digital architecture that will push automotive industry electronics forward light years? The C8 Corvette has all of the above and wraps it all up in a gorgeous package.

The Exterior Of The 2020 C8 Corvette

GM will offer 12 different exterior colors for this new corvette. All of them are offered now with the exception of 2 brand new colors and those are: Zeus Bronze, and Rapid Blue. Options for the exterior include carbon flash painted or exposed carbon fiber aero, a high wing option, carbon flash or chrome Corvette emblems, and a few different wheel colors.

The Interior Of The 2020 C8 Corvette

We were given 6 different interior color choices for this car as well as a slew of options for different seat belts and stitching colors. Premium aluminum, suede, carbon fiber, and leather are used throughout the cabin really giving this car a next generation supercar feel. The interior also uses high end electronics with large high definition displays that react much faster than they have in the past for a precise driving experience.

The Performance Of The Brand New C8 Corvette

This is where things get really good. The performance of this car is into the supercar killing territory. The "base" C8 Corvette will do 0-60 in under 3 seconds and this performance comes from a naturally aspirated 495 horsepower engine mated to an 8 speed dual clutch transmission. In the Z51 configuration you will have access to extra aero dynamic pieces such as: a spoiler, side skirts, front lip, etc that will also enhance the track experience even further.

Cargo Space Inside Of The C8 Corvette

Just like Tadge hinted at in the reveal, the main reason people buy sports cars has very little to do with cargo space, but it is still important and GM knew this. They gave us not only the front trunk (frunk) option but also another storage area in the rear behind the mid mounted engine that will not only fit up to 2 golf bags, but also house the targa top roof. In the new C8 Corvette we not only get 0-60 performance that ranks right up there with the supercars, but we're also able to take it on vacation without leaving anything at home. GM has really thought of everything.
