Even though the 2012 North American International Auto Show at Detroit’s Cobo Hall is almost 4 months away, news about the big show is already trickling out as Car and Driver has revealed that the Volkswagen Jetta Hybrid will make its North American debut at the 2012 Detroit show.

Honda Motors used the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show to offer up a variety of low- or zero-emission vehicles including the new Honda EV Concept which applies a unique look and electric drivetrain to the 5-door, 5-passenger layout similar to the Honda Fit (or Honda Jazz as it is known in other markets).

The newest joint venture between the American Chrysler Group and Fiat was introduced at this week’s 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show as the Chrysler 200 Convertible turned Lancia Flavia Cabriolet was introduced in production form as expected – although the sedan version of the 200 will not be making the trip across the pond as a Lancia model.
