I have a 2014 Silverado with the pinhole leak at the Weld. At a cost of over $1200 I had to have it replaced in Tucson Arizona. I was aware of the hundreds upon hundreds of Silverado owners who have the same problem. The dealership in Tucson, as well as a dealership in Durand Michigan claim they haven’t heard of this problem. That’s to let you all know that they are not paying attention at all regarding our part predicament. For what it’s worth, I have been buying Chevrolet products for the last 50+ years, during which time I was the buyer for a local phone company for all of their trucks. I will never again recommend a Chevrolet product, by a Chevrolet product, or a GM product for that matter. If enough people walk away from Chevrolet it’s just possible, though likely not probable, that the company will start to take notice that they are not able to provide people with quality products, they will lose all their business. My own purchase of over 30 GM products over the years had convinced me the products were built to a standard. Unfortunately, that standard of quality and customer service no longer seems to exist.
