Same/similar problems with my 18' Outback. On my third head unit with no improvement. Local dealer is completely clueless. Stonewalled by dealer and Subaru National Service.
Make your voice heard. Call 1-800-SUBARU3 (1-800-782-2783) and register your complaint. Be sure to get a "Service Request Number".
