I have taken my 2018 Crosstrek to the dealers to address recall code: WUA86. That involves having the latest firmware revision: Rel_U0_18.43.20 uploaded to the Subaru head unit. Although 90% of my problems have been addressed, I am still having problems.

Called Subaru of America and spoke to someone at their recall division who then intern forwarded me over to their customer service division. Please note: Your conversation is being recorded. After confirming that my phone is in fact listed as a supported device (that fully isn’t working) they would email me with various links and a service request number. It has now been over 8 hours and still waiting on that service request number.

I don’t know what to think in this matter other than Subaru is at ends with this problem and they have done all they can do. We are now, as consumers, at the mercy of this class action lawsuit in order to get a revised radio.
