I've had numerous issues with my Subaru Ascent Limited's infotainment system as well! This includes loss of audio (speakers just stop working), screen freezing, Apple Carplay freezing with Spotify app, Google Maps on Apple Carplay freezing, etc. Most of the time, I've been able to "fix" it by restarting the engine, but this has been a HUGE hassle since the system malfunctions while I'm on the freeway most of the time.

I've contacted Subaru's customer service and they've claimed that they haven't heard about these issues. If there's a class action lawsuit, I'd be happy to join in on it, if it even pressures Subaru to 1) acknowledge these are more common than they're admitting, and 2) get some fixes or replacements to improve the overall customer experience.
