I called the dealership 2 weeks ago. I told the the customer service rep what my issue was. He played dumb and said nothing really. I said, "Well, doesn't this fall under the mass voluntary recall, with the white paint, except for those poor unfortunates that were excluded"? He hemmed and hawed said nothing, only I should bring it in. I said. "More and more people are stepping forward, with paint issues on models not covered by the voluntary "low key under the table" recall. Sounds like Toyota is fixing to have a class action lawsuit to me. This could get ugly. Some people have been fighting Toyota for years on this exact paint issue, and they never took responsibility. Toyota needs to take responsibility, they dropped the ball on this"! He said nothing! I can't believe I finally bought a Toyota, and it has a GM issue, that we fought back in 1987. Hah!
