Scott miller, I think that service mgr is feeding you a load of bs. I made one call to Toyota, they instructed me to call my local dealership. I called them, they told me to bring it in the next day to inspect the damage. One of the techs drove it to a local body shop- $1900 in repairs. Today, we dropped off the car, they provided us a rental. Told us it will be ready on Tuesday.
If I were you, I’d be blowing up the phone of Toyota. I’d explain the excuses the service mgr is giving you.
