I've had a similar experience with my 2013 Toyota Highlander. The Blizzard Pearl paint is peeling from the roof and Toyota said it would not be covered. Same known issue, same paint color, different vehicle than the ones listed in the recall. They told me the info would be used to "track trends" for future recalls and that if the paint was fixed now and a future recall included my vehicle we would be reimbursed, but that doesn't help us with the cost to repaint the whole roof now!
