My daughter has leased a new 2020 Hyundai Tucson in November 2020. Four months later with only 1100 miles on it a crack appeared on the windshield and she insists that she did not hear anything hit it. I can’t see any visible marks from a rock hitting the windshield. The crack appears to have started from the bottom, near the wipers, on the driver’s side, and travelled up and over to the passenger side. I will be going to the dealership to let a service advisor look at it. I am sure they will try to say that it was damaged from a rock but I highly doubt it.
