I own a Hyundai 2029 Santa Fe and my windshield cracked also. It was sitting in the a private parking space at my work. At the end of my work day I came out and found a two foot crack going up and across to the drivers side from the center bottom of my windshield. Then over the weekend while sitting in my carport a second crack appeared which is still growing past 16 inches. I think that the windshields are cracking due to stress caused by a miss match to the cars frame.
