I recently purchased a 2021 Hyundai Santa Fe and was driving home and something hit my wind shield. It sounded like a pebble maybe, it cracked the windsheild. This morning I looked at it (the very next day) and the crack has spread down the windshield, so it can’t be repaired, it has to be replaced. I only have 1822 miles on my vehicle and was told that it would cost around $1700 to replace it. I can’t believe the window cracked with something so small hitting it. Makes me wonder what would happen in a real crash. I’m very disappointed and hope they recall these vehicles for the windshields.
