2023 Subaru Forester with 10k miles

Car parked in garage overnight. Next morning discovered spontaneous horizontal crack in windshield!

Crack runs from edge of windshield on Passenger side. The horizontal crack is perpendicular to the passenger side mirror.

Manufacturer seems to have “thinned out” the windshield as part of eyesight feature?
Estimated cost to replace with Subaru OEM windshield $2,000
