My daughter and I researched safe cars for her 1st purchase and, of course, subaru kept coming up. Unfortunately, the same journals said nothing about mechanical failures! We've now had 3 batteries in 18 months and the Subaru dealer outside of St Louis swears my personal mechanic shop is "lying". The shop I use for typical maintenance showed me everything, explained everything and always has! Not hiding anything but yet, Subaru says "we can't find anything". How much deceit has to happen for Subaru to step up to the plate and stand behind their builds?
