I am bringing my 2021 Subaru Outback in AGAIN for the Starlink system problems. This car is garage kept and only has 11,000 miles on it. We bought it new in FebruRy 2021. The first problem we had was that we could not get our iPhone to work with it. We still have this problem. To resolve this the dealership, Colonial Subaru in Danbury CT, did an update and had someone train my wife and I how to use the infotainment system. The second issue happened when we were driving and the audio system became muffled and then the entire screen went black. After we pulled over and restarted the car it seemed to work fine. We took it in for service and all that was done was a system update. Today my wife got stranded when the car would not start, the steering was locked up and the brake pedal would not depress, and all of the dash lights were lit. Just prior to the no start situation, the screen asked for the numbers to pair the phone to the infotainment system. After a few more attempts, including opening and closing the door, the car started and made it home. We now have another service appointment for this problem in a few days. I plan to meet with the manager as I don’t know what I can do/what I should do.
