I have a 2021 Forester. I am disappointed that while the vehicle safety system beeps and applies the brakes when getting too close to an object it does not stop the vehicle either going forward or backwards. I know that the Nissan Rogue comes standard with more safety features including stopping the vehicle going forward or backwards.
If the 2024 Forester does not come standard with the ability to actually STOP the vehicle in either direction this will be a deal breaker. This is my 5th Forester.
