I own a 2017 Crosstrek. I have had to replace my windshield twice since buying this car. Both times a horizontal crack appeared slightly above the passenger windshield wiper. Both times the dealer claimed it was due to an unidentified strike, my word against theirs, guess who ended up paying for the repair. Amazing how through dumb bad luck my windshield was cracked in the same exact spot resulting in the same horizontal crack.
