I purchased my 2021 outback and within 72 hours my windshield was cracked. I was encouraged by the person processing our purchase that I should take the windshield extra coverage as it is expensive to replace. Took 3 months to replace it. Got a third cracked windshield and my car is barely 2 years old. We have a 2000 Subaru that still runs with over 200,000 mi and we've had one chip in the windshield but never had to replace it .
