After three decades of Honda, I bought my wife a 2024 Crosstrek. Up close in the showroom it was impressive. After the second test ride, (1st time on a sunny day, 2nd time in some nasty showers) we were sold. There are many nice features to mention and the Crosstrek keeps it logically simple. I am amazed that interior space is so ample. At 6’2”, I was somewhat cramped in every other small or compact SUV. The Crosstrek seat and legroom combo is excellent. My wife at 5’3”, with ongoing hip and back issues, can position the very accomodating drivers seat to a perfect comfort level. I am learning the Boxer engine, smooth, quiet and seemingly uncomplicated. Interesting history on that motor and its’
lower center of gravity proves effective. I’ll probably be in my three year old Honda CR-V for a few more years but with two key fobs I look for every chance I can get to take that new Crosstrek places.
