Overall, I don't mind the auto stop/start, maybe because I owned a Toyota Prius previously. I bought a used 2021 Forester last month. The dealer was out of 2024 models, and I couldn't wait until the 2025 models arrived. I do hate how it shuts off after I pull into my driveway, one second before I activate the electric parking brake, because it needs the engine to start up again before I can set the brake. Now THAT is lame!
