This article is clickbait and FUD. Tesla is trying to convert the preorders into sales of the Foundation series cybertruck which is expensive and the only available version at this time. Down the road with economies of scale, Tesla will reduce the cost to make the truck and offer cheaper versions to the people with preorders. The preorders are not lost and most should be converted into sales in the future.
