Had a new 2022 forester one month when the front windshield cracked from top to bottom when I was washing the car. The dealer found a tiny pit in the crack and claimed external damage and disallowed that claim. They also denied any knowledge of the American lawsuit and /or any problems with Subaru windshields or Subaru Canada's acceptance of the previous class action ruling in the United States. A bad show all around.
