If you live in a place with a harsh weather environment and still purchase a vehicle with questionable operating characteristics in those conditions, you didn't make a well thought-out decision to begin with, you made an emotional one.
Those are the types of automotive purchasing decisions that usually don't pan out too well because you bought a toy instead of something with far more utility.
Not a criticism, more of an observation. Car guys do this all the time, I know I have.
