Returning from a ski trip suggests a certain amount of privilege to even been able to set forth on that trip. If the car is not functioning properly and puts the driver/owner of said vehicle into perilous conditions, it also puts others in a perilous situation. Fix the car before driving said vehicle to avoid the danger to oneself and others. My 1983 300D Mercedes doesn’t have these problems.
