Sounds like you are frustrated but i can tell you it was not until Toyota brought the engine manufacturing to the US that this problem came about. The Alabama plant did not follow proper cleaning procedures for quality assurance and thus we have a mess ! Nothing to do with Toyota itself !
My Toyota Tundra has 220k on it (2013). Zero issues. Quality it amazing. I just bought a 2024 4 runner (made in Japan).
I can tell you that US Chevy suburban required a transmission at 160k and engine around 200k. So I would think twice before you dismiss toyota. Wish you the best either way !
