Toyota has been getting a lot of flak for their quality lately. At this point, I am not sure if they want people to go for the Lexus GX if they want a better interior or it's just Toyota getting away with cheap interiors until people start going to the competition. That deserves a topic of its own, but I do agree for some of the things.
I personally don't expect any SUV (especially body on frame) to write as well as a sedan on roads, but this is another topic altogether.
