The 10 speed transmission valve body failed on my 2024 Silverado 5.3 at 12700 miles would not back up and only run 45 mph forward
When I went to the dealer and told the service writer what was going on he said immediately it’s the transmission valve body I have three trucks here now waiting on parts, it’s a three month wait
I was on vacation 2k miles from home
The dealer just kinda shrugged their shoulders, it sucks to be you
So i traded and lost money
My thoughts
I have to get home
Vacation is ruined
Spend endless hours on phone trying to straighten this out
NO MORE GM FOR ME!
I really don’t have a problem with a vehicle having a problem but three months waiting on parts is unacceptable
