We own 2 Teslas and 2 Rivian R1S's. While I would hesitate to buy another Tesla in the current political environment, I am not in a hurry to sell the ones I have. I bought my Rivian to haul 3 dogs in crates and all my stuff cross country 2x's a year. Teslas are simply not big enough for my needs. But we love driving both sets of cars. My husband drove his Tesla cross-country the entire way using Full Self Driving. And I was able to ditch my car top carrier and still have plenty of space for my cross-country drive. No issues with charging either car along the way.
