Tesla's steel supplier, Steel Dynamics, recently opened a new plant in Sinton, Texas. According to General Manager Dennis Black, the plant will use 90% recycled scrap metal. The plant is expected to supply Tesla with stainless steel for the Cybertruck.

CATL has already started supplying batteries to Tesla Giga-Shanghai. The new CATL factory began work last November and as of today, it is already running at a 60% production capacity. The supply deal is until December 2025, naturally opened to subsequent renewals.

Tesla Giga Berlin is apparently preparing for the first deliveries at the end of January. In a letter to a reservation holder in Austria, Tesla is basically telling him to start paying 9,900 Euros until the end of January, in order to prepare for next steps and delivery of his Model Y Performance.

There are 3 items that we believe Elon Musk's company should put the spotlight on during this year: the long awaited Cybertruck, the opening of the 2 Gigafactories (Texas and Berlin) and the volume production of the Tesla Semi.
