Starting out as a small vehicle development and consulting company, they designed vehicles for the German government before and during WWII. From tanks and equipment to the Volkswagen Beetle, Porsche has had its place in history. Porsche’s first complete car came from the underpinnings of said Beetle, and became the 356. Porsche continued developing cars for motorsport and eventually the rest of the world. The company found huge success in the 911 model of 1968. Porsche is renowned for designing their automobiles with quality, refinement, and performance.

Porsche now offers a wider range of cars from the iconic performance in the 911, to the spacious Panamera sedans/wagons, and the luxurious Macan and Cayenne SUVs. The 718 Cayman and Boxster models are the entry level sports cars for Porsche and are getting ever so good over the years along with the new electric Taycan which leads Porsche into a new era of innovation.

We knew in August 2011 (before Forza Motorsport 4 was released) that the newest installment of the class-leading driving simulator would not be offering any Porsche models due to a licensing issue with Electronic Arts but the makers of the game announced on their official website today that a whopping 30 genuine Porsche models will be coming to the Xbox Live Marketplace on May 22nd.

We have known (or at least expected) for some time that Porsche would be offering a sport utility vehicle smaller than their popular Cayenne and while we have commonly been referring to the upcoming compact sport ute as the Cajun; thanks to a new company video we know now that the new model will be called the Porsche Macan.
